Francis N. Ngumba- Team Leader; AIAR
Francis Ngumba is skilled in providing extension services, training and coaching, coordination of projects, database management, baseline studies, event organization as well as data analysis. He is an Agricultural Economist from Moi University and is currently the team leader at the African Inception for Agribusiness Research having worked in various agricultural organizations such as Cereal Growers Association, The Kenya Ministry of Agriculture and Cross Frontiers Limited, as well as running his own consultancy Firm: Icase Ventures. He also seats in Uzima Trust’s advisory board to provide expertise on agricultural sustainability project design.

Leif Sjöblom – Professor of Financial Management; IMD Switzerland
Professor Sjöblom’ main areas of interest are; supporting micro-entrepreneurships in Sub-Saharan Africa, performance measurements and shareholder value creation and restructuring of the telecommunications industry. His teaching experience includes general management courses in performance management and financial analysis as well as telecommunications. Since joining IMD he has directed the Program for Executive Development (PED) and the Building on Talent (BOT) program. He is also actively working with African entrepreneurs and universities to develop their capabilities. Leif Sjöblom has a PhD in business and MS in statistics from Stanford University, a MBA from Helsinki School of Economics and a BSc in electrical engineering. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a Fulbright fellow.

Strong business development and Business Planning professional with a Msc. Food Science & Technology focused in Food Technology and Processing from University of Nairobi. Extensive experience working in the private sector food manufacturing and marketing companies. A seasoned in developing interventions for smallholder farmers that are sustainable. Strong in partnership development and resource mobilization.
